The SP-01 kit comes with the newer magazines that are much easier and quicker to load. I've only had problems with CCI Quiet rounds, but at 710 fps I wasn't surprised that they weren't strong enough to cycle the next round.

I'm a big CZ enthusiast and have (and have HAD) a bunch of CZs. I've had a Glock 17, 34, and now have only a Glock 35. For carry -- given those two to choose from -- I think I'd go with the Glock 17, but think the 19 would be even better. For range fun, I'd probably go with the CZ.

I carry the PX4 Compact Carry every day. If you want a DA/SA, Glock-19-sized pistol, it's a good choice IMO. The Carry edition addresses many of the complaints about the vanilla PX4 compact. Pros: The recoil impulse from the rotating-barrel system is 100% as advertised. The Ameriglo sights on the Carry are A+.
To speak fairly, that $1k SP-01 is about the same price as the 9mm 1911s on roster. Now that I say that. I think the SP-01 Cajunized SAO upgrade would win over a stock 9mm Kimber or Springfield that is on roster. If you were to have said 1911 sent to a smith for some work, I might stay true to my last post. I still stand by getting both though
